Thread Lifts have actually been around for quite a while, but have been gaining more and more popularity recently as an easy facelift alternative. While thread lifts are an invasive surgical choice for skin tightening, the popularity of thread lifts has grown in comparison to a traditional facelift because of how quickly the Thread Lift surgeries are performed and the little down time that is involved. Using a hollow needle, a surgeon inserts a thread like needle under the skin, starting near the cheekbone.
